My name is James C. Duncan, and I am a history geek, amateur bladesmith, bookworm and now debut author. I like to write stories of the history and future of our world that are not as we know it. Alternative paths and realities, different outcomes and events, but based on familiar history and places. I was born in London and now live out of it, freed from the hustle and bustle of the city to live with my wife, my cats, my workshop and my home office where I write my books and do my day job. I like long walks on the beach… interrupted by parties of Vikings jumping out of longships and battles for survival. Normal stuff.
