Mary Paulson-Ellis’ debut, The Other Mrs Walker (Mantle, 2016) was a Times bestseller and Waterstones Scottish Book of the Year. Her second, The Inheritance of Solomon Farthing (Mantle, 2019) was a Times and Sunday Times Crime Club pick. Mary was Highly Commended as a Rising Star in the DIVA Literary Awards and shortlisted as a Breakthrough Author in the Books Are My Bag Readers Awards 2017. In 2016 she was named an Amazon Rising. In 2019 Val McDermid selected her as one of the most compelling LGBTQI+ writers working today.
